Quite recently, I've been fascinated by stuff that's been littering the pavement. Over the years there have been various efforts to relieve Britain of this scourge. Most notably the Keep Britan Tidy campaign, which was initiated by the Women's Institute in the mid 1950's. The Wombles, which became a huge children's TV show in the 1970's, also played a major role in attempting to curb our lazy tendencies. More recently, dog owners have been targeted with hefty penalties for uncollected turds, but I still see them everywhere. I get more angry though, whenever I see people leave their trash around green spaces, as in urban environments luckily, there will always be someone to clean it up. Here then, are some of the more unusual things I've encountered on my wanderings.
